September 17 - 19 at Camp Squeah

THIRST is our annual Trinity Central weekend retreat and having missed out on Thirst 2020 we are super-excited for Thirst 2021!

We are looking forward to being able to eat together, worship together, learn together, pray together, and have fun together all in the beautiful surroundings of Camp Squeah near Hope, BC.

Each morning and evening there will be passionate worship and teaching as well as great activities for the children. Afternoons will be a combination of family fun, sport and relaxation.

 Friday evening:

7:30 – 8:00am Morning Prayer
8:00 – 9:00am Breakfast
9:30 – 12:00pm Session 2

5:00 – 6:00pm Dinner
7:00 – 9:30pm Session 3
9:30 – 9:45pm Drinks & Snacks
9:45 – 10:45pm Talent Show
11pm –  Curfew

Sunday:

7:30 – 8:00am Morning Prayer
8:00 – 9:00am Breakfast
9:30 – 12 noon Session 4
12:30 – 1:30pm Lunch

Comfort Accommodation (Fraser or Emory Lodges)

  • Book by July 31st 2021: ADULT – $195 / CHILD – $150
  • Book after August 1st 2021: – ADULT – $215 / CHILD – $170

Standard Accommodation (Squeah Lodge Dormitories)

  • Book by July 31st 2021: ADULT – $160 / CHILD – $130
  • Book after August 1st 2021: ADULT – $180 / CHILD – $150

Basic Accommodation (Cabins)

  • Book by July 31st 2021: ADULT – $120 / CHILD – $100
  • Book after August 1st 2021: ADULT – $140 / CHILD – $120

Camping/RV Accommodation

  • Book by July 31st 2021: ADULT – $90 / CHILD – $70
  • Book after August 1st 2021: ADULT – $110 / CHILD – $90

Please note

  • Children’s prices are 5-12 years.
  • 4’s and under go free of charge
  • Prices are per person, inc. taxes
  • Each room type is subject to availability. Book early to secure your preferred option.
  • Meals are included from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunchtime
  • The cost does NOT cover transportation to Camp Squeah
  • Camping and RV sites do not include tent, vehicle or equipment
  • You will need to bring your own bedding and towels.

FAQs

Camp Squeah is 16km north of Hope, BC in the beautiful Fraser Valley. It is about a two-hour drive from Vancouver. Simply drive East on Hwy 1 (Trans-Canada Highway), use Exit 170 near Hope to remain on Hwy 1, and continue for about 16km. The address is #4-27915 Trans-Canada Hwy, Hope, BC V0X 1L3.

Check-in will start on the afternoon of Friday September 16th (exact time tbc) to give you time to settle into your cabin or to get your tent set up if you choose to camp. The weekend will officially start with our first session together at 8pm.  We need to be off site by 4pm on Sunday September 19th. A link to the full provisional schedule can be seen here

There are three types of accommodation at Camp Squeah.  You can view the different prices above

  • Comfort Room (in Emory or Fraser Lodges)
  • Standard dormitory-style (Squeah Lodge Rooms)
  • Basic (Cabins)

Families will be allocated their own cabin or room.

There are also a few camping and RV sites available, so book in quickly if you want one so you don’t miss out.  If you are camping you must bring your own tent and equipment.

For all accommodation options, you will need to bring your own bedding and towels with you.

All meals and snacks between Saturday breakfast and Sunday lunch are included.   No meal is included on Friday evening so please plan in advance to eat before you arrive.  Alternatively there are restaurants locally in Hope, or you are welcome to bring a BBQ to use in the designated BBQ area.

Some things to remember when packing:

Bedding (sheets, pillows, or sleeping bag to fit your chosen bed type)
Towels
Flashlights
Sports gear
Your Bible and notebook

There is a sports hall (gym) and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.

Thirst 2021 is for those who are part of the Trinity Central family, however if you have only recently started coming along we would love you to join us!

You need to register and pay before September 3rd 2021 so that we can give our final numbers to Camp Squeah.

If you register before July 31st you will receive the cheapest rate for Thirst 2021. From August 1st you will pay the higher rate.  Each Accommodation type is subject to availability.

Prices are per person, including taxes.
Prices for children are 5-12 years inclusive on September 17th 2021.
4’s and under as of September 17th 2021 are free of charge
Food allergies will be catered for, please include on booking form.  Food preferences can also be indicated, but are not guaranteed and may incur an additional charge.
The Thirst 2021 cost does not cover transportation to Camp Squeah so please make your own travel arrangements.  If you have any difficulties with this then please contact us.
