Join us at our annual weekend away

Thirst is our annual Trinity Central weekend away. We eat together, worship together, learn together, pray together, and have fun together all in the beautiful surroundings of Camp Squeah (near Hope, BC).

Each morning and evening there will be passionate worship and teaching as well as great activities for the children. Afternoons will be a combination of family fun, sport and relaxation.

 Friday evening:

3pm onward Gates open – sign in

7:30 – 8:00am Morning Prayer
8:00 – 9:00am Breakfast
9:30 – 12:00pm Session 2

5:00 – 6:00pm Dinner
7:00 – 9:30pm Session 3
9:30 – 9:45pm Drinks & Snacks

  • Children’s prices are 5-12 years.
  • 4’s and under go free of charge
  • Prices are per person, inc. taxes
  • Each room type is subject to availability. Book early to secure your preferred option.
  • Meals are included from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime
  • The cost does NOT cover transportation to Camp Squeah
  • Camping and RV sites do not include tent, vehicle or equipment
  • You will need to bring your own bedding and towels.

FAQs

Camp Squeah is 16km north of Hope, BC in the beautiful Fraser Valley. It is about a two-hour drive from Vancouver. Simply drive East on Hwy 1 (Trans-Canada Highway), use Exit 170 near Hope to remain on Hwy 1, and continue for about 16km. The address is #4-27915 Trans-Canada Hwy, Hope, BC V0X 1L3.

Checking-in will start on the afternoon of Friday October 2nd (exact time tbc) to give you plenty of time to settle into your cabin or to get your tent set up if you choose to camp. The weekend will officially start on the Friday evening with dinner at 6pm followed by our first session together. We need to be off site by 4pm on Sunday afternoon, October 4th. There are three types of accommodation at Camp Squeah.  You can view the different prices for each option here

  • Comfort Room (in Emory or Fraser Lodges)
  • Standard dormitory-style (Squeah Lodge Rooms)
  • Basic (Cabins)

Families will be allocated their own cabin or room.

There are also a few camping and RV sites available, so book in quickly if you want one so you don’t miss out.  If you are camping you must bring your own tent and equipment.

For all accommodation options, you will need to bring your own bedding and towels with you.

New for 2020, we will be having dinner together at 6pm on Friday evening. On Saturday, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served. On Sunday it will be breakfast and lunch as we all be departing on Sunday afternoon.

Some things to remember when packing:

Bedding (sheets, pillows, or sleeping bag to fit your chosen bed type)
Towels
Flashlights
Sports gear
Your Bible and notebook

There is a sports hall (gym) and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.

Thirst 2020 is for those who are part of the Trinity Central family.  Even if you have only recently started coming along we would love you to join us!

You can register here.

You need to register and pay before September 16th 2020 so that we can give our final numbers to the camp.

If you register before April 30th you will receive the cheapest rate for Thirst 2020. If you register after May 1st but before July 31st you will pay the standard rate. From August 1st you will pay the highest rate.  Each Accommodation type is subject to availability.

Prices are per person, including taxes.
Prices for children are 5-12 years inclusive on October 2nd 2020.
4’s and under (as of October 2nd 2020) are free of charge
Food allergies will be catered for (please mention on booking form). Food preferences can be indicated, but are not guaranteed and may incur an additional charge.
