The Kids team, led by Katrina Machin, serves our younger children, helping them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. We worship, do crafts, teach the Bible and play games. It’s fun and high energy!

The set up team, led by Art Graham, makes the Sunday service possible by setting up the necessary equipment and then cleaning up after the service. We couldn’t do it without these folks!
The Welcome team, led by John Payne, makes visitors to Trinity Central feel right at home. The team also plays a key role helping people get settled in to the church community.
Our worship team, led by Rhys Scott, leads us in worshiping our loving, awesome God in song. If you are passionate about other people encountering God in worship and have musical or technical gifts then this may be the place for you.
The Alpha team helps to organize and coordinate our main outreach effort – the Alpha Course.
The Tech team, led by Joseph Tinlin, makes sure that everybody can see and engage on a Sunday. This includes providing song words so we can sing together, amplification of speakers and music, filming the service, and streaming it far and wide so that those unable to come to the Park Theatre can still be with us. This team is absolutely essential!
Rhys and Sara and their two children, Eden and Taylor, moved to Vancouver to plant Trinity Central in 2011. While remaining an elder, in May 2025 Rhys handed over leadership of the team to Ben, creating capacity for our growing mission beyond Vancouver. He loves to worship, pray and develop leaders. Katrina is the Staff Deacon at Trinity Central Church, where she oversees church administration and events while also leading Trinity Kids. Outside of church, Katrina enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband, Mark, and their son, Monty. Together, they love adventuring through the wilds of British Columbia and beyond.
Rhys Scott leads Trinity Central’s worship team. This team exists to glorify God by leading in worship that inspires, includes and facilitates encountering Him. He is building a team that worships passionately, leads enthusiastically and plays excellently.
